Forest Hill management and accreditations
Forest Hill opened in 1954 as a not-for-profit, non-denominational Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Pacific Grove, CA. Forest Hill is owned and operated by California-Nevada Methodist Homes and welcomes seniors of all faiths and beliefs into our community.
Forest Hill is a member of LeadingAge (formerly AAHSA – American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging) and Aging Services of California (ASC). The membership in these affiliated National and State associations is comprised of nonprofit providers of senior housing, healthcare and related services.
Forest Hill is accredited through the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission—an independent accrediting body of CARF/CCAC. This accreditation is widely recognized as the gold standard of quality for Continuing Care Retirement Communities, which means that the community has met or exceeded industry standards for excellence in services, programs, financial stability, facilities and health care.
